Carte blanche à Laure Marsac Les cinéastes ont souvent trouvé dans leur enfance ou leur jeunesse le matériau brut dont sont faits leurs films. Ils ont remodelé ces souvenirs, reconstruit le récit, reconstitué les temps, reprisé le filet du réel. Comment ? Pourquoi ? Nous présenterons une sélection de films sur l’enfance ou la jeunesse, suivie d’une discussion entre leurs auteurs et les spectateurs. Ces projections seront accompagnées d’une exposition sur des métiers du cinéma : photographe de plateau, costumière, décorateur, story-boarder, réalisateur.

Carte blanche to Laure Marsac Filmmakers have often found the foundational material of their films in their childhood or their youth. How and why do they remodel these memories, re-build the narrative, re-constitute times, and darn the net of reality? A selection of films around childhood or youth will be presented, followed by a conversation between the authors and the spectators. These screenings will be accompanied by an exhibition on cinema’s professions: the photographer, costume designer, set designer, story-boarder, and director.
